Deukhuri

Inner Terai valley in southern Dang District, distinct from the Dang Valley around Ghorahi/Tulsipur — home to Lamahi Municipality and the district's newer rural municipalities. Deukhuri became Lumbini Province's official capital in 2025, after several years as the legally designated but not-yet-functioning seat while Butwal served as the temporary capital.
