No accounts, no login
SthanKosh doesn't have user accounts, sign-in, or any authentication system. There's no personal profile of any kind to create or lose.
"My Places" stays on your device
If you save a place using the My Places feature, that list is stored only in your own browser's local storage. It is never sent to SthanKosh, Nepalwide.org, or anyone else — it's not synced, backed up, or visible to us in any way. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, it's gone; there's currently no way to recover or sync it, since there's no account for it to live on.
Site preferences
Basic display preferences — theme (light/dark) and language — may be stored in your browser's local storage or in a cookie scoped to the nepalwide.org domain family, so the same preference can carry across Nepalwide.org sites. These store a preference value only, not any personal or identifying information.
Hosting
This site is served as a static site via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, as the hosting provider, processes standard web request data (such as IP address) to serve pages and protect against abuse, the way any web host does. SthanKosh itself does not run its own analytics or tracking scripts.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the same address used forcorrection reports.
