Historic riverside locality on the north bank of the Bagmati River, just north of Pashupatinath Temple, within Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Home to shrines dedicated to Parvati and Kiranteswar Mahadev and a bathing ghat used during Swasthani Brata Katha in the month of Magh.
